Crunchyroll Picks Up Blade Runner Anime; Anti-White Writer Alex de Campi Joins

Crunchyroll and Adult Swim announced that a new 13-episode animated series called Blade Runner – Black Lotus will be produced by Japanese studio Sola Digital Arts, with Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama set to direct all episodes. If the name of the studio sounds familiar it’s because they’re also behind the upcoming Ultraman reboot on Netflix, and the animated films Appleseed: Alpha and Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars. The show doesn’t have a release date yet but Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo director, Shinichiro Watanabe, will work as the creative producer, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

One of the more startling pieces of news is that anti-white comic book activist, Alex de Campi, will write two of the 13 episodes, as confirmed in a tweet by Campi that went out following the announcement of the news.

Some of you may remember Alex de Campi from a Twitter tirade against white men for not buying the SJW Marvel comic books, which caused them to tank in sales, which in turn forced Marvel to cancel some of the SJW comic books.

Campi blamed white males for not supporting the SJW comic books and for gate-keeping by not purchasing comic books featuring “diverse” characters or written by “diverse” creators.

So for any of you who were worried about potential SJW influence… well, Blade Runner – Black Lotus will most certainly have SJW influence, at least for two episodes. Then again, it could be worse yet given Crunchyroll’s history of SJWism.

This is part of Crunchyroll’s initiative to cash in on the ever-so-popular and ever-growing anime market. Netflix is also competing with the streaming service as well with their own anime and reviving old anime like Cowboy Bebop, which is set to get a live-action series much like Netflix’s SJW-themed Death Note remake and the upcoming race-swapped rendition of The Witcher, which is also set to air on Netflix.

It’s no surprise that a lot of these companies are either trying to co-op or weed their way into the Japanese animation market due to the popularity of the media in Western culture. As pointed out by Anime News Network, the Japanese animation industry has reached an all-time record high five years in a row, with a 29.6% market growth in overseas consumption, represented via the dotted line in the graph below.

However, interestingly enough domestic sales have been decreasing over the years, with a 5.5% drop. Japan’s biggest export is to China, followed by South Korea, Taiwan, and then the United States.

Much like what happened with gaming and comic books, with SJWs invading in force to take over the culture resulting in some popular franchises getting woke and going broke, expect to see more SJWs infiltrating anime and trying to either subvert the culture, convert the culture, or destroy it from within.

There’s no due date on Bladerunner – Black Lotus, but expect those details to drop soon.
