Anti-#GamerGate activist, male feminist, and co-founder of Crash Override Network, Alex Lifschitz, was accused of being abusive and misconducting himself while involved with various partners. Crash Override Network Chat Leaks Re-Added To Wikipedia Article

After Wikipedia editors filibustered the Crash Override Network Wikipedia article for two months they finally decided to allow a mention of the CON chat leaks to be mentioned on the page. The entry does not detail what the leaks were actually about or contextual why the leaks became news at all. Eurogamer Censors Comments Mentioning CON Leaks To Protect Zoe Quinn

Crash Override Network had a series of leaks occur that revealed that the abuse and harassment organization was involved in doxing, targeted harassment and sabotage. The leaks were covered extensively by Washington Examiner and Heat Street. Journalists have tried covering up the leaks by avoiding talking about them since it shows that co-founders Alex Lifschitz and Zoe Quinnwere  partaking in the harassment that Quinn supposedly talked out against and blamed #GamerGate for throughout 2014, 2015 and 2016. Wikipedia Editors Accept David Pakman’s Summary Of Crash Override Network Leaks

The filibustering of the Crash Override Network page continues over on Wikipedia. Administrators and editors have taken up charge of camping the page and preventing anyone from mentioning that the Crash Override Network leaks contain targeted harassment, doxing and admission of sabotage. However, they are willing to allow the leaks to be mentioned if only in a non-contextual, non-damaging manner. Two More Members Confirm Authenticity Of Crash Override Network Leaks

During the bustle of the original Crash Override Network Skype chat leaks and Trello card dossiers making their way into the public limelight, most people focused on Ian Miles Cheong and Randi Lee Harper confirming that the chat logs maintained a level of authenticity about them. Well, two others also commented about the authenticity of the chat logs, including a Lars Flyger, who goes by the handle of Zennistrad on Twitter, and another member of the group named Peter Coffin. CBC, LA Times Keep Silent On Crash Override Network Leaks

The Crash Override Network leaks have proven that members of the supposed anti-harassment group were engaged in targeted harassment, doxing and sabotage. The chat leaks from Skype and Trello revealed a lot about the organization, detailed over on Heat Street and Washington Examiner. Well, readers have been reaching out to networks who previously promoted Crash Override Network to see if they would be willing to update their stories about these issues, but sites like CBC and LA Times have been dead silent about the matter. The Guardian Offers No Response On Crash Override Network’s Targeted Harassment

The Crash Override Network leaks were released to the public in late August. The leaks revealed targeted harassment, doxing and admission to sabotage. The leaks were covered by Heat Street and Washington Examiner in the mainstream space, but was ignored by other mainstream outlets. In the case of The Guardian, they were contacted both as part of an e-mail campaign and I personally reached out to one of their editors regarding coverage of the leaks, but there has been no response from the outlet. Business Insider, Develop Stay Silent On Harassment, Doxing After Promoting CON

Following the leak of the Crash Override Network chat logs and Trello cards, a number of websites who previously promoted the anti-abuse and anti-harassment network have gone silent. Based on the leaked chat logs and Trello cards, Crash Override Network partook in harassment, sabotage and doxing, things that they supposedly were organized to fight against. Two of those websites promoting Crash Override Network (oftentimes referred to as CON) who are now conspicuously silent are Business Insider and Develop. Wikipedia Admin Filibusters Crash Override Network Page To Bury Chat Leaks

Every major outlet that covered and promoted Crash Override Network has been contacted about the CON leaks exposing the organization for having engaged in harassment and doxing. The authors of those pieces have been reached out to, but the outlets themselves have neither acknowledged nor responded to any requests for comment or updates regarding the Crash Override Network leaks that occurred at the end of August. I’ve personally tried reaching out to some, but have been blocked on Twitter or received no response via e-mail.
