Streets Of Rage 4 Gameplay Video Highlights New Weapons, Music, And Enemies

Streets of Rage 4

Lizardcube, DotEmu and Guard Crush Games almost looked to be putting Streets of Rage back on the map in a right proper when they first reintroduced gamers to Streets of Rage 4. The art-style was different but characters like Blaze looked smoking hot, and had upskirt panty shots galore, making it look like a true throwback to the kind of gaming we all knew and loved. They also announced that Yūzō Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima were back to score the soundtrack, and that the game would appear on home consoles and PC. It was like dream news come true for fans of the classic beat-’em-up… but then they introduced the very unappealing Cherry Hunter. Well, id Software has a new demon for the Doom Slayer to slay, and this time it’s a threat specifically designed to hunt down slayers, and it’s known as the Doom Hunter. Gears 5 Campaign Story Trailer Does Little To Impress

Gears 5

Attaching Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like A Hole” to a near two minute trailer featuring the campaign mode of Gears 5 has done little to impress any gamer out there who was skeptical about the title. Fanboys are probably head-over-heels for the social engineering experiment, but no one ever accused a fanboy of being smart. Continue reading “Gears 5 Campaign Story Trailer Does Little To Impress”

The Falconeer Trailer Reveals An Ocean-World Aerial RPG With Dynamic Dogfights

The Falconeer

Okay, I was completely blown away by this game. I bookmarked the trailer not really expecting much other than a typical, pretentious indie title – possibly something pixelated with some indie folk music to set the mood with campfires, lots of pointless existential posturing, and maybe some mountain climbing and stray insinuations about global warming smacking the player over the head every once in a while throughout the non-violent adventure. However, The Falconeer is nothing like what I described and the complete opposite of any of the hipster trash that I thought it would be.
