Sony’s censorship policies for the PS4 has claimed another victim, this time it’s Marvelous Entertainment’s Senran Kagura 7EVEN. The policies rocked the Japanese gaming industry since it requires developers to have to submit their game content in English to Sony Interactive Entertainment offices in California. The policies also require developers to censor a lot of fan-service content aimed at enticing straight males. Gungrave VR Launches For PlayStation VR On December 11th

XSeed Games announced that Gungrave VR will be launching exclusively for the PlayStation VR starting December 11th, 2018 next month. The VR shooter game is based on the anime, and as it launches there will be a second DLC episode made available called Gungrave VR U.N. The standalone episode will further expand on the store and content featured in the original Gungrave VR, and you’ll be able to buy each one separately or you can get them in a bundle together for $39.99. [Original article:] A developer working for Igrasil Studio, who is also a Marvelous Entertainment partner for the Japanese and European branches of the company, shared a petition back on October 16th, 2018 to help get the community riled up and ready to politely take the fight to Sony. UPPERS PS Vita English Translation Available For Download

Marvelous Entertainment recently announced that UPPERS is set to make its way Westward for PS4 and on Steam for PC. The 3D beat-’em-up game has already been out and available in Japan for some years for the PS Vita, but the Western release won’t see the light of day on the PS Vita due to Sony’s dwindling support for the system. It’s basically like a mix between Yakuza, River City Ransom and Senran Kagura. Well, some gamers in the community took it upon themselves to provide an unofficial English translation for the PS Vita version and the dozen or so gamers who still play on Sony’s handheld. YouTube Censors Official Senran Kagura Livestream For Sexual Content

During a livestream that Marvelous Entertainment and Honey Parade Games held on August 2nd, 2018, which was broadcast to discuss the second season of the anime Senran Kagura and reveal the Peach Ball Senran Kagura pinball game for the Nintendo Switch, YouTube shut the stream off and censored it on the grounds that it violated their policy on nudity and sexual content.
