The series is a crime-drama themed around a murder-mystery that takes place at an academy, prompting for an investigation into the murder to find out who committed the crime. There are reports that the Regressive Left are actively attacking translator Dan Kanemitsu for his translation of Netflix’s iteration of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Originally they claimed that Netflix censored the gayness out of the show, but later others corrected that misconception, stating that Kanemitsu’s translation was more faithful to the original intent, which was to make the scene and interaction more ambiguous and less obvious.
