Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ In-Game Footage Shows Co-op Missions And Gunplay
(Last Updated On: June 19, 2016)

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is shaping up to come out next year on March 17th. Although that’s a long wait for eager fans, two new videos surfaced revealing actual in-game footage to hold folks over. Clocking in at over 20 minutes, the two videos show one co-op mission from two different perspectives. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is slated to release for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

To be honest, when I was done watching both videos, although I know that it has a year’s worth of time to fix things, the two video showing off gameplay kinda felt “meh” to me. Being a hardcore fan of Ghost Recon games, it felt disappointing how glitchy and bland the action felt.

In addition, I’ve seen some other games out there in their alpha stage, or a year out from release, that held my interest more than what was shown below. However, time will tell if the game shapes up to be a decent co-op, open world take on the Ghost Recon world, or if it will be another generic RPG shooter game like The Division.

The good part about the video, though it was still coordinated by a developer leading the team, it doesn’t have atrocious “fake gamer” devs reading a script over preset gameplay like the other E3 gameplay video. I say this because in some parts you can see the raw and uncut parts of Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

The first video in certain parts reflects that it’s in an Alpha stage, but is pretty tamed compared to the second video. The former comes in by TheRelaxingEnd, while the latter arrives from Ollie43.

I’m still on the fence when it comes to if I’m excited or not for this game. I’ll wait before I give my final opinion if Wildlands will be better or not on release. Speaking of its release, the game is set to come on March 17th, 2017, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
