Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack Set To Come West On September 30th
(Last Updated On: July 4, 2016)

Fans of Azure Striker Gunvolt will soon be able to get their hands on the latest Azure Striker Gunvolt games on September 30th for the Nintendo 3DS, thanks to Yacht Club Games. Entitled Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack, developer Inti Creates announced the above information during the Keiji Inafune and Inti Creates panel at this year’s Anime Expo.

Ultimately, folks will be getting two games in one when purchasing this pack for their 3DS. This bundle brings both Azure Striker Gunvolt and Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 to the table, which will be available to download through the eShope on September 30th, 2016.

I should clarify that this information is in regards to North America, which was announced during the Keiji Inafune and Inti Creates panel at this year’s Anime Expo. As for Europe there hasn’t been any word or information regarding if the pack will be available soon. Seeing how the pack was recently rated over in Australia, other releases could be set to hit other regions, too.

In case you aren’t familiar with Azure Striker Gunvolt, it plays out similar to Mega Man or Gunstar Heroes. Using shields to deflect enemy fire, running and gunning down various threats and bosses like old 1990’s 2D games all form the game’s core mechanics, and play a huge part in Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker. If you are curious and want to see the pack in action, you can check out the official western video trailer, which features a pretty cheap voice over detailing the game.

As noted above, the game will feature two games in one — seeing how it is a bundle pack — with both Azure Striker Gunvolt and Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 being a part of the pack for the 3DS. I’m sure more information will drop on the game for other countries, but as of now the game has a North American release of September 30th, 2016.
