Dead Or Alive 5: Last Round Set To Receive Attack On Titan DLC
(Last Updated On: July 10, 2016)

Fans of Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s Dead or Alive 5: Last Round are in for a real treat with some brand new Attack On Titan DLC costumes due to drop on July 19th.

Not only will the DLC pack contain new costumes for the characters, but it will also include a brand new stage based on the wall of Trost, complete with the Colossal Titan peering over the wall. A few well placed heavy attacks can even send an opponent barreling toward the head of the Titan, which will result in them getting palm slapped across the arena. You can see the costumes and stage in action with the Japanese trailer below.

Some of the characters actually look pretty cool decked out in the Attack on Titan gear. It almost makes me wonder how Team Ninja would have handled making the game had Omega Force not made it? That’s not to take anything away from Omega Force’s ability to create amazing games, but when you see the kind of detail that Team Ninja put into this DLC pack and the amount of work that went into the costumes, it definitely makes you wonder how well they would have been able to make an entire game centered around those concepts?

This crossover DLC doesn’t really come out of the blue. Koei Tecmo is publishing the Attack on Titan game so it makes sense that they would cross it over with Dead or Alive.

They’re also doing some other crossover content with some other Japanese-themed properties, including Aquaplus, which is due to drop in December, and a King of Fighters crossover that features a playable version of Mai Shiranui from the Women’s Team, which is due to drop in September. You’ll also be able to get your hands on Mai in King of Fighters XIV, which is set to release on the PS4 on August 23rd next month.

I kinda has to play AoT or watch the anime first. I’ve heard it is all serious, so I dunno.
