Mirage: Arcane Warfare To Debut Two New Playable Levels At PAX West

Gamers who will be lucky enough to attend PAX West in Seattle, Washington between September 2nd and September 5th next month will be able to get their hands on brand new content featured in Torn Banner Studios’ upcoming competitive first-person shooter, Mirage: Arcane Warfare.

The studio recently announced that not only will they be in attendance at this year’s jam packed PAX West (an event so big that they’ve had to limit how many members of the press will be allowed on hand from each outlet), but they will be debuting brand new content for Mirage in the form of two playable levels, the colorful market district known as the Bazaar, and the destroyed ruins known as the Sunken City.

The Bazaar will sport a team objective mode that sees players having to capture points and help escort their magic vessel to the end zone, not unlike the Escort mode in Overwatch and other shooters. Whereas the Sunken City will focus on the point capture mode, which I assume is like the Domination mode from Call of Duty or the typical base capture mode in Battlefield games.

Gameplay footage is expected to be captured of the game’s demonstration at this year’s event in Seattle, Washington. If you haven’t seen th egame in action before you can check out the gameplay trailer below.

The Unreal Engine 4 FPS focuses on mixing melee combat and dismemberment with class-based magic attacks, giving Mirage: Arcane Warfare a very different look and feel from other FPS titles on the market.

You can look for Mirage: Arcane Warfare to launch in full in early 2017 for Steam on PC, and if things go over well maybe we’ll see it appear on home consoles as well, just like Torn Banner’s previous outing, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare.
