Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Gains New Cinematic Launch Trailer

With only three days to go until the newest Sid Meier’s Civilization VI becomes available for PC via Steam, publisher 2K Games and developer Firaxis have released a new cinematic launch trailer ahead of the strategy game’s October 21st launch date.

The turn-based strategy game, better known as Civilization VI, is about to release with its ever approaching October 21st release date, which seems to be narrowing down quite fast. But while we wait for the popular strategy game to release for PC, a new trailer has been released by the devs that might bring a smile to eager fans awaiting the game.

For your viewing pleasure the trailer sits below, thanks to Sid Meier’s Civilization channel.

Civilization VI is said to build on previous games in the Civ series and add even more flavor to the base game. However, new and old players alike will find that the strategy game is heavily dependent on choices, building, plotting, and forming alliances and enemies through research and development. The formula of the game is better described in the official description, which is also accompanied by some new features in Civilization VI.

“Civilization VI offers new ways to interact with your world, expand your empire across the map, advance your culture, and compete against history’s greatest leaders to build a civilization that will stand the test of time. Play as Theodore Roosevelt (America) or Victoria (England).”

The latest Civ game will also feature new multiplayer modes that allow multiple people to cooperate and compete with each other in a variety of situations.

Furthermore, the devs noted that Civilization VI will provide veteran players a new way to build and tune their civilization for greater chances of success, while first time players of the game will be able to access a new tutorial system that introduces different mechanics in the game in an easy to comprehend manner.

Cid Meier’s Civilization VI is set to debut officially on October 21st for PC via Steam.
