Farming Simulator 17 Mods Add Trucks And Change Ground Physics

Looking for some new Farming Simulator 17 mods? Well, there are some new mods to add to your game to make it that more exciting. Focus Home Interactive and Giants Software’s Farming Simulator 17 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The first mod that comes in is by modders Winston9587 and CarolinaBoy. This mod brings a new truck to the world of Farming Simulator 2017 to drive around in, which goes by the name of the Cat CT660 (as seen below).

The second mod on this list was uploaded by Guest and was credited to Giants Software. This mod adds more advanced terrain properties, tires sinking into the soil depending on the type and the weather, wheels responding more dynamically to rough ground, and slipping mechanics on wet terrain. The last and final mod on this list comes in by modder LS-Andy, and was uploaded by the very active John Der33. The mod’s name is Sosnovka World Map v 1.0, and aims to fix the yard by making it larger with new vehicles and fixing map and log errors. Players will now be able to store wheat, barely, rapeseed, sunflower, soybean, potato, straw, sugar beets, silage and grass when in the Silo.

The Sosnovka World Map v 1.0 mod also makes it so that while you are in the Garden Center you can sell straw, hay, grass and more. You can get this mod by heading on over to

    As ridiculous as I find this series, I gotta admit they have dedication.

    I saw the trailer of this on Steam and it looked beautiful. Colorful, vibrant, etc. Then I looked up in-game footage and it looks really dull and dreary. Dunno if it’s the video compression or what. If it’s not, I don’t understand why they don’t just make the in-game colorful and vibrant as well.

    • In-game color definitely depends on two major factors:
      1) real-time in-game weather system
      2) end-user’s graphics setup

      The videos I’ve been watching have the game looking flatout gorgeous. I was shocked at how well the physics work in the game and some of the design decisions that really make the farming come to life. Giants Software did a superb job with some the realistic elements.

        One of the dull looking gameplay videos I saw said it was on ULTRA MAX or something. Maybe that guy was lying.

        I think I tried one of their train sims a while back and it wasn’t great. Maybe I’ll see how this one looks on my PC.
