Pokemon Go Set To Gain New Bonuses In Upcoming Update

Publisher and developer Niantic just issued out a new update post that details what will be new in the mobile smart phone game Pokemon Go. Those who are still sticking it out and playing the game will soon gain access to new bonuses, XP and Stardust boost. Pokemon Go is out now for iOS and Android devices.

If you are into Pokemon Go, or if you took a break and look to come back to the mobile Pokemon catching game, there is a new update set to come out sometime soon for all trainers. In a new website entry that Niantic published, the post goes over some of the fundamentals that players can expect to encounter when the update goes live.

“We want to provide you a detailed look at a new feature coming soon to Pokémon GO – Daily bonuses! Trainers will soon be able to receive a bonus for certain daily activities, including catching a Pokémon or visiting a PokéStop once a day. You’ll earn a larger bonus if you do this seven days in a row!”

Starting things off, catching a Pokemon every day will grant you a bonus of 500 XP, and 600 Stardust. As for catching a Pokemon every day for seven days straight will grant you 2,000 XP, and 2,400 Stardust. Additionally, by visiting a PokeStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will grant 500 XP, and “A number of additional items”.

The post also details that upon visiting a PokeStop every day for seven days in a row will offer even more experience and stuff. This includes 2,000 XP and a better chance of additional items to obtain.

The last thing noted on the update page is that if you catch a Pokemon on Tuesday (local time), you will be eligible for the next daily bonus on Wednesday at 12 AM local time. As of now the update does not have an official date as to when it will drop. So for now, you can get more information on Pokemon Go and the update page by hitting up pokemongolive.com.
