Fatshark has announced that Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide will gain a new campaign DLC named Karak Azgaraz. The snowy DLC will fix a lot of weapons and stats in the game, and will also add new content for Vermintide fans to explore. Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The DLC that will bring new locations and other content will come in from the dangerous city of Ubersreik that is the Dwarfen fortress of Karaz Azgaraz. The map introduces players to Dwarven technology in a mountain-like area riddled with Skaven doing what they are best at, trying to kill you.
Fatshark also posted up a new description for the DLC, and they also have a new trailer for the Karak Azgaraz DLC, although the video isn’t up yet. Still, the description reads.
“The Skaven have invaded the Dwarfen fortress of Karak Azgaraz! Fight your way through 3 striking levels in this DLC for Vermintide, set among the snow covered peaks of the Grey Mountains. Battle the Skaven in the ancient halls of the Dwarfen Khazid Kro, made of cold stone and old technology. Explore the mountains in search of The Cursed Rune. Finally, make your way to the top of the mountain to light the first beacon and trigger the Chain of Fire.”
The three maps include Khazid Kro, The Cursed Rune, and Chain of Fire. Each of the maps are said to be unique and offer up something different from the other maps, and two new rare weapons — Dwarf Ranger’s Warpick and the Witch Hunter’s Falchion — will also make an appearance.
Over on Vermintide’s Steam Community page the devs detailed everything regarding the new Karaz Azgaraz DLC that consists of a lot of changes and additives. If you want you can read the full change-log over on the Steam Community page.
Although Fatshark announced the new DLC the release date for Karaz Azgaraz hasn’t been released yet, but something that is known regarding the DLC is that it will cost $8.99. Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is currently out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
