Legend Of The skyfish follows the story of Little Red Hook and her epic Moonwhale, as they adventure through the land to defeat the monstrous Skyfish.
Unlike traditional adventure games where you are armed with a sword and a shield, magic, or sometimes a bow, Legend Of The skyfish has our main heroine armed with a fishing rod. The developers at Crescent Moon Games say that your fishing rod will be your main weapon to attack enemies and that you will be able to use it in a variety of ways, including the ability to use the fishing rod as a grappling hook. You will also be able to upgrade your weapon as you go along to make it more powerful. Don’t want to use the keyboard? Don’t worry, the game will feature controller support so you can plug and play with a controller instead of the mouse and keyboard.
Legend Of The skyfish has a graphic art style that reminds me of a more colorful and vibrant version of the classic Legend Of Zelda games, since the camera angle and stage design has similar themes. Speaking of level designs, Legend Of The skyfish will feature 45 handcrafted levels for you to fight through, as well as epic boss battles that will challenge your skills of skyfish hunting, as well as various puzzles to challenge your problem solving skills. The game also features customly made handpainted environments and monsters to bring the world of Skyfish to life. The developers released a trailer for Legend Of The skyfish to show off the gameplay, so check out the video I linked down below.
Legend Of The skyfish will release sometime in the early part of 2017, but for now if you are interested in supporting the developers and would like to see the game come to Steam, you can head on over to the steam Greenlight page to cast your vote.
