Remember the game Yoshi’s Woolly World on the Wii U? Yup, that game’s “enhanced 3DS port” of the Wii U is set to release early next year and has some new stuff that is revealed in a new trailer entitled “New Features”. The video covers all of the upcoming features that handheld fans can look forward to when January 19th, 2017, rolls around.
Nintendo has unveiled a new trailer for the woolly game that stands to be an “enhanced version” of the Wii U’s Yoshi’s Woolly World, except this one will be for the Nintendo 3DS and is named Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World. A new trailer accompanies this announcement which can be seen below.
The new trailer entitled “New Features” offer fans a look at the exclusive features that will be in the 3DS version. These features consist of Poochy Dash stages, the ability to design your own Yoshi to play with and share via StreetPass, the Yoshi Theater that allows you to watch Yoshi and Poochy’s daily lives, the new Poochy Amiibo, and the ability to use other Amiibos to obtain/unlock different designs for Yoshi.
Moreover, Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World is an expanded version of the 2015 Wii U platformer, in case you are new to both games. Though much of the game will be quite the same in terms of stages, territory and so on, Nintendo is said to offer an ample amount content by bundling it alongside all levels, as well as story content from its Wii U version.
I’m sure this title will please a lot of Yoshi’s Woolly World fans as well as Nintendo 3DS owners seeing how it’s something new to discover in a familiar realm.
Lastly, the game is set to release for the 3DS on January 19th, 2017 in Japan, and will release in the West on February 3rd.
