Destiny: Xur Location And Items For Jan 27th, 2017

Xur is back and can be found in the Vanguard section in the eastern part of the Tower. If you are looking for Xur and what exotic items to buy from him this week, hopefully this guide will help you. Destiny is out now for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One.

Upon heading straight after entering the Tower you will eventually reach the back room where Xur should be on the right side. Xur’s armor inventory this week contains the Glasshouse helmet for Titans, the Graviton Forfeit helmet for Hunters, and the Claws of Ahamkara gauntlets for Warlocks.

Looking over to the exotic weapon this week, Guardians will find that Zhalo Supercell is on sale. This exotic weapon deals heavy amounts of elemental damage and is good for mission that have Arc Burn modifiers on, which if you want you can upgrade the auto rifle to current light level — seeing how it is a “Year 2” weapon.

Other items in Xur’s inventory includes Sparrow upgrades, Legacy Engram boots (skip if you are thinking correctly), Heavy Ammo Synthesis, Mote of Light, Glass Needles, and Exotic Shards.

A video by Datto covers all of Xur’s exotic items and weapons he’s currently selling this week, which on a derpy scale of good, mediocre and bad, Xur is somewhat derpy depending on what you are looking to do in the game, which puts him at being mediocre this week.

A bulleted list sits below for you to look over if you want to see the prices for each item:

  • (Titan Helmet) The Glasshouse – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Hunter Helmet) Graviton Forfeit – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Warlock Gauntlets) Claws of Ahamkara – 13 Strange Coins
  • (Auto Rifle) Zhalo Supercell – 23 Strange Coins
  • (Legacy Engram) Legacy Boots – 29 Strange Coins

TL;DR: If you are playing as a Hunter that prefers to run as a Nightstalker you should consider getting the Graviton helmet seeing how you will gain an extra Shadestep for free. Other items worth checking out includes Three of Coins, Heavy Ammo Synths, and Zhalo Supercell — if you don’t own it already.

Bungie’s Destiny is out right now as well as its expansion Rise of Iron. The former is available to play across PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One, while the latter is available for Xbox One and PS4.
