Splatoon 2 was revealed as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, due for release this upcoming summer, presumably after the big E3 event in Los Angeles, California this year.
According to Nintendo Everything, Splatoon will feature many of the previous game’s stages and gear and weapons, but they’ll be refreshed with some new features and elements. The idea is to carryover what worked in the first game, but then iterate, elevate and evolve that experience for the second game. So far they’ve revealed that there will be four new stages, along with an all new single-player campaign mode and returning Amiibo support.
