For gamers that don’t know, the game is set in a strange place called Schwarzwelt, a ruined land that suddenly appeared in the Antarctic. The land contains abnormal happenings and creatures, so a strike team is sent to investigate. They end up encountering a sight that should not be possible.

In addition to the above, this is where the protagonist (or the player) comes in to investigate what is happening, where the future of mankind is left to the decisions of the strike team and the protagonist.
