Some mods for Skyrim Special Edition have surfaced on NexusMods that add new animations, improve eyes for all species in the game and bring another layer to terrain textures. The Special Edition of Skyrim is currently out now for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
The first mod that is now on NexusMods comes in by L3st4t, and corrects some of the present animations in Skyrim. Animations that are changed consists of spells, one-handed swords, walking and running animations.
“This mod replaces one-handed sword and magic animations. Designed to fit a character with a sword in one hand, a magic in the other, such as Spellsword, Battle Mage or Mystic Knight, or pure Mage. If you want to make your character relaxed and self-confident like Sorcerer and Warlock, maybe this mod is a bit different from you’re looking for.”
The next mod offers a wide variety of eyes to pick from that work across all types of characters. This mod comes in by Nazenn, and stands as a purely cosmetic mod for the Special Edition.

The last mod on this list offers redone textures containing information related to the terrain it is near. For instance, if there is snow near a mountain it will look fitting to the textures placed on the mountain. This prevents dark snow on a light mountain or whatever the location may be.
“The diffuse texture contains the color information of the terrain lod. I created it with the aim to achieve a better fitting between lod snow on objects and mountains with the terrain snow. But I’ve got reports that the snow may be too dark. So I’ve created a Diffuse B texture with brighter lod snow. Use it if Diffuse A is too dark for you too. It contains a noise texture too. Which is designed to follow the pattern of the landscape textures.”
An image showing the mod in action can be seen below. Those interested in the mod can download T4gtr34um3r’s texture mod by hitting up NexusMods.
