Fallout 4 Mods Add Better Companions, New Weapons And More

The latest Fallout 4 mods that alter the game in fun ways consists of a better companion mod that makes followers more reliable, more weapons to expand your arsenal, and Sim Settlement pieces that stand as add-on parts to the base game. Bethesda’s Fallout 4 is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

The first mod up comes in by modder Rbddc12. The mod contains nothing new in that it is a recollection of other mods compiled into one to make companions or followers that much better and smarter.

The mod, however, brings infinite ammo, unbreakable power armor, stealth and fall damage immunity to companions — including DLC and modded followers. The only difference between this mod and other companion mods is that you will not have to edit vanilla records, meaning that this mod adds the above changes without any editing. You can get this mod over on NexusMods.

The next mod up is by Dpillari, who changed the normal maps for missile launchers to give them increased surface detail. The modder added additional targeting computer glow effects in the dark and recolored the three shot missile receiver to make it the same color as the missile launcher. Finally, the modder added light reflection to the lens for better detail in well lit areas.

The third mod on this list brings a whole bunch of pieces or add-on settlement parts to Fallout 4. As part of the Sim Settlement series, the mod brings one new home and shop, two new farms and factories and a new VIP story that is early in development. You can check out all of the new things that modder MrJoseCuervo added in this round of the Sim Settlement package by heading over to NexusMods.

The last mod on this list comes in by modder Newermind43. The mod stands to be a trinity or tri-barrel shotgun that comes with different attachments. You can watch a video by Faceman Gaming showing the mod or you can get it now by heading over to NexusMods.
