(Last Updated On: May 11, 2017)

Sega has released yet another trailer for Sonic Mania showing off Flying Battery Zone act 1, the second stage after Mushroom Hill Zone in Sonic & Knuckles. Sonic Mania is set to release for PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Switch this Summer.

You know what would be nice? If Sega announced an official release date for Sonic Mania instead of the vague Summer release, but that’s just me. Anyway, fans looking for a new trailer of Sonic Mania should look no further becauset Sega has a one minute video of Knuckles running through the first act of Flying Battery zone.

The official description for the Sonic Mania Flying Battery trailer can be seen below.

“Take a sneak peek at Flying Battery Zone as Knuckles infiltrates the floating stronghold, with new paths and traps to trounce any critter foolish enough to launch an assault.”

For newcomers the video shows a flying battery fortress filled with electronic devices, spinning net metal things and evil minions of Eggman, while Knuckles races through said place. For those who’ve played the original version of the game will notice graphical changes, new animations and a rearrangement of assets that differ from the vanilla version of the level.

You can check out the new trailer that Sega dropped for folks to look over, which clocks in at one minute and one second.

Taking a step back for readers who are unaware, Sonic Mania will add new content to the 20 year old game (23 to be specific) that will spice up the original game via today’s tech. Sonic Mania will bring new zones and bosses, which three characters will be playable including: Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.

Sonic Mania is set to release for PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Switch this Summer. lastly, keeping up the spicy meme tradition, here’s Sanic.
