A batch of videos showing both the PS4 and 3DS versions of Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time comes in by V-Jump, who has a nice in-game tour f towns, caves and even battles in the upcoming RPG. Square Enix is set to release Dragon Quest XI on July 29th for both PS4 and 3DS in Japan.
Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time is shaping up to be pretty big given the recent fan demand for a Western version, which the Japanese release of DQXI is set to drop next month on the 29th for PS4 and 3DS. While eager fans and curious gamers alike wait for the RPG to drop, V-Jump has gone up with a batch of gameplay videos showing actual in-game footage of both platform variants of DQXI.
This information regarding Dragon Quest XI and the new videos come in courtesy of Gematsu. The publication site reveals the exact same six videos as seen below that cover a list of locations and battles in the realm of DQXI.
The special gameplay presentation by V-Jump starts off with three PS4 gameplay videos showing a town, a cave and a boss battle. The other three videos that follow are 3DS videos of gameplay that show a variety of actions, like traveling around, the 3DS map, bartering and much more. Each of the six videos come in courtesy of VJumpshueisha.
As noted above, the upcoming role-playing game known as Dragon Quest XI currently has no Western release date. However, I’m sure a date will come sooner or later given the past games in the series release in the West.
Lastly, Dragon Quest XI: In Search of Departed Time is set to launch for PS4 and 3DS on July 29th in Japan. A Nintendo Switch version is also planned to come out too, but it has no release date as of this moment.
