Folks still waiting on SKSE 64-bit now have something to play during this time, which is Beyond Skyrim: Bruma mod. The download link is now up on NexusMods and is ready to be installed on your PC, the mod will also be available for Special Edition and Xbox One players in the near future too.
Notice: If you have downloaded the v1.0 during the earlier part of today (July 1st), you should revert to the save game that you had prior to loading Bruma. Due to some missing scripts found in the mod, some quests might have failed to trigger. The hot fix known as v1.1 will add the absent scripts back, but they won’t trigger or work properly on an existing save.
The actual mod named Beyond Skyrim: Bruma let’s players discover the city’s residents since the events of Oblivion in all-new adventure and story quest-line. Going head first into an expansive region bigger and much denser than the Dragonborn DLC, the Bruma mod offers choices and consequences in a seemingly new way.
Players will be able to freely explore the land at their own pace, and the act of rediscovering places like Frostcrag Spire, Cloud Ruler Temple, Frostfire Glade and many other memorable locations are now ready to be visited as you journey back to the Heartlands.
It is worth noting that the Bruma mod not only re-imagines and recreates a lot of old assets from scratch with much detail, but it also contains over 70 residents, each with their own unique dialogue, stories and routines.
The Bruma mod also brings all-new Cyrodilic weapons and armor, and seamless integration with the base game — allowing players to cross the border with your existing character(s) or start from scratch. Whether you start from scratch or bring all of your existing equipment over, there are innumerable amounts of new quests and story-lines throughout the gigantic Bruma mod that challenge seasoned veterans and newcomers alike.
Furthermore, over 24,000 lines of voice-overs are featured in the Bruma mod that are from both professional and semi-professional cast whose combined works include Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dust: An Elysian Tail, and Apotheon and Heroes of Newerth. Tagging along with the expansive and huge text/voice-over comes well over three hours of original music made just for Beyond Skyrim: Bruma.
Below is the launch announcement trailer that comes from the Beyond Skyrim team’s YouTube channel, which the video is currently up for your viewing pleasure.
