Monster Hunter: World Gains Over 20 Minutes Of Gameplay

Monster Hunter: World is shaping up to be a pretty big title given that it takes the handheld version to another level across PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Containing better graphics, additional monsters and more content, a new video comes in by Capcom showing 23 minutes worth of Monster Hunter: World gameplay.

I love the Monster Hunter series and If you happen to fancy the games, too, there is a new video for you to look over that Capcom recently published. The new video explores over 20 minutes of actual in-game footage, showcasing what the game has to offer both graphically and gameplay wise.

The video that Capcom published provides a nice look at the “Ancient Forest Hunt.” The mission or video takes a deep look at one of the many quests in the game and how this very quest unfolds as the player in the video journeys to face-off with a giant new monster named the Anjanath.

Monster Hunter: World also received a new description by Capcom that stands as a brief overview explaining what fans can expect from the upcoming monster slaying game:

“Monster Hunter: World sees players take on the role of a hunter that completes various quests to hunt and slay monsters within a lively living and breathing eco-system full of predators…. and prey. In the video you can see some of the creatures you can expect to come across within the New World, the newly discovered continent where Monster Hunter: World is set, including the Great Jagras which has the ability to swallow its prey whole and one of the Monster Hunter series favorites, Rathalos.

Players are able to utilize survival tools such as the slinger and Scoutfly to aid them in their hunt. By using these skills to their advantage hunters can lure monsters into traps and even pit them against each other in an epic fierce battle. Can our hunter successfully survive the fight and slay the Anjanath? He’ll need to select his weapon choice carefully from 14 different weapon classes and think strategically about how to take the giant foe down. Don’t forget to pack the camouflaging ghillie suit!”

Monster Hunter: World is set to release worldwide for PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime early 2018. The PC version will release a bit later in 2018, while the Japanese version of World will only launch for PS4.
