The first game that kicked it all off with four players fighting off an onslaught of Skaven and other enemies now has a sequel. Fatshark will unleash the full reveal trailer for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 come October 17th. The game will also be released later for PC and consoles.
If you are a fan of the first Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide game and still play it to this very day there’s good news for you, a second title is set in motion and will have a worldwide revealed in the next two months for PC and the latest consoles. Specifics on which consoles Vermintide 2 will be on is still under wraps, but it’s safe to assume that PS4 and Xbox One will be in the mix.
The second game sounds much like the first title in that co-operative play is still a thing against an onslaught of enemies. Remaining yet again in the end times of the dark and grim Warhammer fantasy world, weapons that can be equipped ranging from long-range to melee will be carried from the first to second title.
The second iteration to the first-person fantasy action game’s new description lies below for your reading pleasure:
“Warhammer: Vermintide II is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Vermintide. It’s time for players to return to the memorable first-person co-op experience with intense world class melee action.
Set in the dark and grim Warhammer Fantasy world, you must join forces with up to three other players to tackle the endless hordes of enemies. Equipped with a variety of melee and ranged weapons, you and your team are all that stands between utter defeat and victory – and if you fall so will the Empire.”
The devs also released a batch of screenshots showing the second game and its environments.
Lastly, a new teaser trailer has surfaced showing a simple background, the text “Warhammer: Vermintide 2,” and the worldwide reveal date of October 17th.
