Nintendo of America recently revealed that Telltale Games’ Batman: The Telltale Series and Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series will both be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
The news comes courtesy of a tweet from the official Nintendo of America account, which informed the gaming community at large about the news.

A bunch of responses below the tweet are begging and asking for a crossover between Batman and Mario, or that Batman should appear as a DLC character (or part of the normal roster) in the next Super Smash Bros. game. Technically, just because Telltale puts games on Nintendo’s system doesn’t mean the license for the characters automatically transfers over. Nintendo would still have to wade through the brothel of legalese with Warner Bros., and either take the top or bottom in the deal when it comes to using the popular DC hero in any of their games.
The more important question, however, is which season of Telltale’s take on the Dark Knight will appear on the Nintendo Switch? Will Telltale start from the beginning and port over the first season of Batman: The Telltale Series to Nintendo’s device? Or will they skip out over the first season and instead focus on Batman: The Enemy Within, which is currently underway right now?
We know for a fact that Guardians of the Galaxy’s current season is what will appear on the Switch since it only has one season.
This also opens up the door for more of Telltale’s back catalog to appear on the Switch as well, including The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us. In the case of the latter series, Telltale is prepping for the second season of The Wolf Among Us, so if Telltale were to pull the trigger of putting the episodic series on the Switch, it would be wise to start with the first season to get everyone all caught up before the second season drops.
Anyway, no release date was set on when Telltale’s Batman or Guardians of the Galaxy will appear on the Switch.
