The WWE 2K18 promotional videos have been rolling out for the game featuring gameplay, entrances, and the game’s roster reveals. The latest video features former NXT champion, Bobby Roode, making his “glorious” entrance in NXT in front of the Full Sail audience.

IGN managed to capture the footage and upload it, featuring Roode coming down to the ring in his white robe and NXT championship belt. Check it out below.

The highlight of Roode’s entrance is having the crowd sing along with the lyrics. Yukes and the rest of the 2K team adding in subtle personality traits like that are what really help make the game stand out from a presentation stand point.

IGN also managed to get their hands on the entrance for Ember Moon, who recently took the loss at NXT Takeover Brooklyn against the undefeated NXT women’s champion, Asuka. You can check out Ember’s entrance below.

Ember’s entrance looks a little… clumsy. Ember’s scan looks good and the outfit is fairly decent, but her movements look stilted.

The final entrance that was made public was for The Miz.

He looks okay, along with his wife Maryse.

While some superstars look pretty good in WWE 2K18, such as Rusev, John Cena, a scarily realistic looking Randy Orton, and Seth Rollins, some superstars look like giant, shiny, clay models… like The Miz.

The comment section was also keen on finding out if Maryse was playable, because a lot of people apparently want to play as Maryse.

Gameplay wise, WWE 2K18 just isn’t all that impressive. The graphics upgrade looks good, and the new lighting system helps bring more realism to the presentation, but boy oh boy does the whole thing look stilted and unimpressive from a match-flow perspective.

Anyway, you can look for WWE 2K18 to launch on October 17th for the Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
