Platinum Games Hideki Kamiya Teases Bayonetta 3
(Last Updated On: September 9, 2017)

Rumors about Bayonetta 3 have been circulating every now and then, and does make one question whether it will see fruition of the game or not. Speaking of rumors and if they are true, recently Hideki Kamiya of Platinum Games responded to a fan’s query and teased Bayonetta 3.

Fans of the first two Bayonetta games I bet are waiting for a new title to grace whatever platform it is being developed for, assuming it is even in development. At times, Platinum Games can be very tricky and will use cryptic references to lead fans on to believe one thing but in reality something else is brewing at the studio.

Following that cryptic behavior comes a tease by Hideki Kamiya of Platinum Games, who seemingly took to Twitter to respond to a fan about the very lore regarding the series of Bayonetta. The response can be seen below.

You read right, we have to wait until “Bayo3” hits the scene to find out more about the lore when Twitter user Koldspaghettio inquired about it.

In addition to the above, we learned some time back that Bayonetta 3 was discussed at this year’s BitSummit in Japan courtesy of Sourcegaming‘s interview with producer Atsushi Inaba of Platinum Games, who noted that…

“I would like to make Bayonetta 3. We’re talking within the company even now about what to do”.

Inaba also revealed during the same interview at BitSummit that the game could have a new protagonist. At the moment, it seems that a third title is more than in consideration given that the team consistently brings it up every now and then to spark fans’ attention. However, and as noted above, this could all just be talk to see if fans are excited, but I’m sure fans would love to see a new game.

Before signing out, would you like to see Bayonetta 3 hit store shelves and the digital scene or no?
