A lot of job listings for Cyberpunk 2077 have been posted up in the past few months, but most of them offer up stuff that we already know. Recently, though, CD Projekt Red has posted a new job listing for a vehicle artist that sees complex vehicles, planes, bikes, robots and mechanics to appear in the “dark streets of Night City.”
Notice: Although the following information comes from CD Projekt Red’s latest job listing for a vehicle artist, none of the forthcoming information should be taken literal seeing that it could change during development. However, what is known is that there are plans for vehicles to be in Cyberpunk 2077.
One of the latest job listings, unlike some of the most recent ones, cover vehicles that will supposedly be present in Cyberpunk 2077. These vehicles range from complex vehicles, planes, bikes, robots and certain kinds of mechanics to appear in the “dark streets of Night City.”
As a Vehicle Artist, you will be responsible for modeling incredibly complex vehicles, planes, bikes, robots and mechanics which will then appear in the dark streets of Night City. Sounds interesting? Apply now!https://t.co/YL8sPNLNWp pic.twitter.com/kgg7LZ0JWn

Adding on to the above tweet, the following information can be found over on cdprojektred.com:
“As a Vehicle Artist you will be responsible for modeling incredibly complex vehicles, planes, bikes, robots and mechanics.
“Modeling all kinds of complex futuristic vehicles and robots.”
We can take stuff like “complex vehicles” and planes as fancy wording for something that may or may not be as complex as one might think. In other words, they could be something a bit more practical in terms of navigating the “dark streets of Night City” like a hover bike, or something unorthodox like a flying convexing/concaving vehicle contraption with something like suicide doors on a car.
As for robots and mechanics, they could be like the mech featured in the below teaser image.
It’s also worth noting that back on
“Creating the whole architecture of vehicle related code and the physics of driving / flying in those vehicles.”
Lastly, we also get to see in the same job listing some humor from CD Projekt Red about the much controversial loot-box situation as seen below.
How did you know it was next in the queue? 😮

Anyway, Cyberpunk 2077 will release when it’s ready for PC and the latest consoles.
