Fighting EX Layer Playable PS4 Beta Set For December 11th
(Last Updated On: November 15, 2017)

The PS4 fighting game that once went by the name of “Arika’s mysterious fighting game” has changed to Fighting EX Layer, and will have a playable beta set for December 11th, 2017. This information comes from the PlayStation.blog detailing said beta, new features, characters, and more.

That’s correct, new information on Fighting EX Layer has come forth thanks to Akira Nishitani, who took to the PlayStation.blog to detail information on said fighting game.

According to the post by Nishitani, the title that once went by the name of “Arika’s mysterious fighting game” beta will run for two straight weeks for gamers to test:

“Immediately following the conclusion of Playstation Experience on December 11, we will be holding the beta test for a two week period! There will be six characters playable in total: Kairi, Garuda, Skullomania, Darun Mister, Allen Snider, and Shirase.”

If you want to get a head start and try the game before anyone else, the developers will hold a special demo of Fighting EX Layer at PlayStation Experience 2017 from December 9th to December 10th.

Moreover, a unique system in Fighting EX Layer that goes by the name of Gougi can alter battles in a non-cheating way. The system is said to be complex and help players out if they happened to be jammed in a corner or wish to tactically change up their play style.

Looking over to the last piece of information featured on the blog site comes in the form of a new character that happens to be Shirase. The new character is teased in the latest video trailer titled “Ver.20171115-PV”.

You can check out the new 57 second long trailer that comes in by Arika.

If you want to play the full version of Fighting EX Layer, the devs are sent to release the fighting game sometime in 2018 for PS4. More information on this game can be found over on the PlayStation.blog or arika.co.jp.
