Nioh has brought a lot of attention to Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja in that many gamers found the PS4 game to be solid and fun. Well, it looks like it was so solid and fun that folks on PC (via Steam) will gain access to all DLC and special content through the Complete Edition come November 7th.
The pair, Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja, wanted to play on this PC release by posting a new trailer detailing what the PC version has to offer, although it happens to be in the video’s description through text and not the actual video itself.
Folks following Nioh and Koei Tecmo will know that the PC version was announced back on October 2nd, 2017, which said version will release next week on November 7th.
The PC version of Nioh that goes by the name of “Complete Edition” will include the base game, all three DLCs — Dragon of the North, Defiant Honor, and Bloodshed’s End — and a new Dharmachakra Kabuto helmet.
The Complete Edition is also said to sport “high-resolution graphics” that can be furthered enjoyed through Action Mode. This mode will supposedly run at a stable 60fps, however if you want 4K resolution you can opt for Movie Mode, which is said to bring a cinematic experience.
You can check out the new trailer by Koei Tecmo that also stands to be an accolade in disguise as seen below.
Many questions that fans have at this moment is will there be DRM, will the game be capped at 60fps, and will it feature proper PC configurations in its options menu so that the game can run stable/properly on any PC rig.
Seeing that we only have five days as of this writing, time will surely tell how Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s PC version of Nioh will turn out.
Lastly, the Japanese version of Nioh: Complete Edition will launch digitally for PS4 along with its PC version on November 7th and physically on December 7th. Folks in the West are still in the dark as to whether Koei Tecmo will release Nioh: Complete Edition for PS4.
