MinMax Games have released their new title Space Pirates and Zombies 2 for PC via Steam and GOG. The strategy space simulator challenges the most skillful space pirate to adapt to an ever evolving post-apocalyptic galaxy. As of right now, Space Pirates and Zombies 2 is currently running for $19.99.
Space sims, fleet sims, and strategy sims all have dedicated crowds that come back to them every so often. The same will likely happen with Space Pirates and Zombies 2, if the first game’s niche success is any indication.
Furthermore, gamers looking to strap-in and take space by the horns will find in SPAZ 2 that you must survive in ever-changing times. The second game sees the zombie threat still clambering, however the infrastructure has collapsed, fuel is scarce, and scavenging is a top priority to survive.
Given that the game just hit the digital scene, newcomers looking to make sense of the second iteration of SPAZ should look no further:
“Design and then improve the ultimate mothership. Explore a persistent living galaxy populated by 200 unique captains that can do everything you can do. Survive the zombie infection and then fight them back. Make allies and start your own faction. Build your empire. Also includes Sandbox Mode.”
The latest debut of SPAZ 2 has brought with it a two-minute long release trailer. The video details the basics found in the game that consist of exploring a living galaxy, claiming territory, and fighting to protect what’s yours.
If you are leery about SPAZ 2 gameplay there is a nice long near 50 minute video showing actual gameplay. The video comes in by Zymbalfy and stands to be a demo.
