(Last Updated On: January 12, 2018)

For a limited time, you’ll be able to hop into the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT open beta on the PlayStation 4. All you have to do is download the beta right now from either the European or the North American PlayStation Store and begin checking out the three-vs-three gameplay.

Square sent out a quick reminder that gamers can get their hands on the free open beta client right now, which will last from January 12th, 2018 up until January 21st, 2018.

If you live in North America and have a North American PlayStation Network account, you can download the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT client from the US PlayStation Store.

If, however, you live in Europe and have a European PlayStation Network account, you can download the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT client from the EU PlayStation Store.

Much like the Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta, you can simply click on the “Add to Cart” button on the left hand side of the screen, checkout from the store with the item in your cart, and then proceed to click on the tab to download the beta to your PlayStation 4. You can even do it remotely from the web browser on your PC.

Throughout the beta Square will be swapping out the characters so that players will be able to experiment with different heroes and villains on their teams throughout the lengthy beta test.

The full game will feature 28 playable characters dating back to the original Final Fantasy games and going all the way up to the newer Final Fantasy games.

Another good thing about it is that you don’t need PlayStation Plus to download and play the open beta. So really there’s no risk other than the amount of bandwidth that you must give up in order to play the game beta.

The full version of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is due to drop on the PlayStation 4 starting January 30th at the end of the month.
