Mechanical Monocle announced that they’ve recently updated Fractured State by adding a brand new unit to the Laperian side in the form of a Sharpshooter, and a new unit for the Children of the Ancients in the form of the Fanatic unit.
The Sharpshooter unit is designed as a long range specialist for taking out enemy units from across the map. You’ll be able to utilize distance as a tactical advantage thanks to the deployment of the long-range rifle.

In addition to adding the two new units into Fractured State they’ve also made some changes to the game’s unit spacing and how players move and attack, as well as how buildings are used in battle.
Other minor updates have been made to the game as well, including changing the heal amount for the Surgeon, and increasing the canister toss for the Grenadier.
The game is currently discounted by 50% off during a special sale so you can get it for $4.99 instead of the usual $9.99. Mechanical Monocle’s title has been in Early Access since last spring in 2017.
