If you are considering Far Cry 5 and what Ubisoft has to offer you in regards to the upcoming FPS game’s co-op mode, a new Far Cry 5 co-op video has surfaced and shows bears, boats, and planes in action.
Far Cry 5 features a co-op mode, which has been detailed in a recent post by Ubisoft over on the publisher/developer’s official website. The most recent information touches on the arcade mode, co-op in the base game and DLC content.
On the topic of DLC, it’s unclear if you will be able to use the “Guns for Hire” or “Fangs for Hire” along with another player in the Hours of Darkness, Lost on Mars, and Dead Living Zombies DLCs. What is certain is that folks interested in the Dead Living Zombies DLC can play with another person given the following description:
“Dead Living Zombies places you and a co-op teammate at the whim of a B-movie director, who cooks up seven different scenarios that pit you against hordes of undead horrors.”
I’m sure in time Ubisoft will further detail if the “Guns for Hire” or “Fangs for Hire” system will appear in the three DLCs, and if the Hours of Darkness and Lost on Mars expansion will sport co-op play.
In the meantime you can watch a new Far Cry 5 co-op video by YouTuber Neebs Gaming, which features an adventurous pair named Thick and Doraleous.
If you aren’t into the whole co-op thing, the arcade mode is said to be part map editor and part game-design tool. The free tool allows you to play, create and share maps. Any rewards you earn in the arcade mode, including money, items, weapons, and vehicles, will carry over to the campaign mode.
