Back in 2015 TendoGames brought their product Them And Us to Steam Greenlight. The horror game draws heavy inspiration from the later Resident Evil games, and is now shaping up to hit Steam Early Access this year after a successful Greenlight run.
On March 31st, 2018, came the announcement of Them And Us prepping to hit PC via Steam Early Access in the next few months. The information was relayed by TendoGames, who happens to be based in Japan. The announcement was made in celebration of milestone progress being made on the survival-horror game.
Graphically the game looks quite nice to be made by a handful of indie devs, which becomes even more impressive when you take into consideration that Them And Us was once a product of Steam Greenlight.
On the downside, Them And Us is yet another zombie game, so if you’re tired of shooting zombies this game may not appeal to you. However, if you happen to like Jill Valentine and playing games similar to the later over-the-shoulder Resident Evil titles, then you might like Them And Us.
Something worth noting is that Them And Us is about to release in the next three or so months, but no official gameplay trailer has been published, which is quite worrisome to me. Instead, a series of behind the scene clips were released by Tendogames for public viewing, as seen below.
If you want to see more of the two protagonist featured in Them And Us, two videos running in real time depict playable characters Alicia and Paul.
The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and will also sport full on decapitation. From the sounds of it, there will be visible and graphic blood and other forms of gib in Them And Us, so if you are into that kind of stuff you should be elated to know it’s included.
We should see an actual gameplay trailer of Them And Us sometime soon given that its release date for Early Access is set to drop in the next few months. You can learn more about the devs and this game by visiting tendogames.com.
