One of the more unique games to come out this generation has been Spearhead Games’ Omensight for PS4 and PC. The game is a third-person, hack-and-slash, platforming, narrative-driven action game. It’s a rare mix of genres that begs for multiple playthroughs. It gets more difficult as you progress through the game and uncover different timelines and fight different bosses in order to discover the truth behind a murder that sets off a cataclysmic event, which eventually leads toward the end of a universe. For gamers who can’t be bothered to put in the hard work to train up and get good, there are some cheats to help with that.
There’s a free and premium cheat trainer for Omensight available for download right now over on Megadev.info.
The cheat trainer contains the following cheats:
- +100 Exp
- +500 Exp
- +1000 Exp
- -1000 Exp
- -1000 Amber
- +Low Player Health
- +1000 Amber
- +5000 Amber
- God Mode
- One Hit Kill
So the experience points will allow you to level up, but you’ll need the Amber to actually unlock new skills and upgrade your abilities. Without the Amber the experience points are kind of useless based on the way the game allows you to upgrade your character the Harbinger.
The one-hit kill and god mode cheats are also fairly self-explanatory. For the god mode it helps if you’re facing off against multiple foes giving you a tough time or boss fights that wear thin your patience. The one-hit kills are good for taking out larger foes or bosses during the mid-to-late game.
There’s also a second premium trainer available for download from over on Cheat Happens.
The trainer for Omensight contains the following cheats:
- Infinite Health
- Infinite Power
- One Hit Kills
- Change Amber
- Change EXP
- Super Speed
You get a few more interesting cheats to mess around with in the game with the premium trainer, but not much more than what you get with the other trainer up top.
Omensight is a unique game insofar that it’s a fantasy, sci-fi, mystery, hack-and-slash title set within a wholly original universe. You’ll play as a Harbinger whose job is to find out who murdered a priestess who protects the realm from the end of the universe.
The hook for the game is that as you play through the game you can siphon the souls from key characters and rewind time to join them in battle and experience what they experienced in order to piece together the mystery behind the priestess’ murder.
I can’t think of any other game out there quite like it, and the fact that it has multiple narrative outcomes and endings, it helps stand out from the rest of the herd that constantly just keep recycling the same stories and gameplay mechanics over and over again.
The cheats only work for the PC version of the game, but Omensight is also available for the PS4. You can learn more by visiting the game’s official website.
