Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies To Release On PC, PS4 And Xbox One On August 28th

Thy flesh will be consumed late August if you are into zombies and Far Cry 5. Ubisoft made the announcement on the Ubiblog that Far Cry 5‘s third DLC, Dead Living Zombies, will launch on August 28th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One players.

It’s unclear whether the Dead Living Zombies DLC will be a bite-sized piece of content that can be completed less than an hour like Hours of Darkness, or if it will offer something meatier than the Lost on Mars DLC? Well, we’ll find out in the next two weeks on August 28th.

We know that late August will be the time to assume the role of an actor under Far Cry 5’s resident D-list film director, Guy Marvel, thanks to news.ubisoft.com. If playing through horror-movie scenarios in seven zombie-infested maps sounds like fun, you know what date to mark on your calendar.

Anyway, you can see the DLC in action for yourself by checking out the newly posted teaser trailer:

Marvel’s movie scripts are said to be challenging, placing players in scenarios to survive against undead hordes in varying environments that include military bases, farmlands, and urban rooftops.

After playing through each map, you can replay them all in Score Attack mode, and unlock new weapons and gear for use in the main campaign. Contrary to unlocking stuff, all assets from Dead Living Zombies will be available to all players for use in the Arcade mode.

If that sounds like fun, but you’re not fond of playing solo there will be a co-op mode.

And lastly, you can access Dead Living Zombies by picking up the Season Pass and Gold Editions of Far Cry 5, or you can purchase Dead Living Zombies as a standalone DLC. More info on the Dead Living Zombies DLC can be found on news.ubisoft.com.
