Tesla Vs Lovecraft: For Science DLC Will Add New Weapons, New Perks, New Monsters
Tesla vs Lovecraft For Science

One of the more inventive games to come out in recent times is 10Tons Ltd’s Tesla Vs Lovecraft. The top-down twin-stick shooter sees players taking on the role of the brilliant mad scientist Nikola Tesla, as he attempts to hunt down and put an end to the world-ending machinations of H.P. Lovecraft. Yes, the game is literally two historical figures going head-to-head in an extra-dimensional showdown.

The core game centers around Tesla’s journey through the early 20th century to track down and stop all of Lovecraft’s attempts to revive the Old Ones and bring them to the Earth realm. The new DLC, For Science, expands on Tesla’s journey by adding in brand new content for players to discover, including all new weapons with crazy effects such as ricocheting laser beams, along with epic class versions of each of the existing weapons in the game.

Two brand new monsters have also been added to the game, giving gamers an increase in challenge to deal with, and new perks to unlock. You can check out the trailer below to get a look at the new content in action.

There 10 all new perks to collect, along with two new power-ups, two new abilities, and two new inventions to create.

The DLC also adds the new Dreamlands planes to the game, where players will have to venture through the increasingly challenging maps filled to the brim with relentless enemies.

I think Tesla Vs Lovecraft managed to capture the attention of a niche audience because it’s definitely a different kind of take on actual history. This would have been an even cooler game if 10Tons had the budget to make something like the 2009 Ghostbusters game.

Anyway, you can look for the DLC to launch soon on Steam for PC for $4.99 starting in early December. The DLC will also be available for the other platforms at a later date. You can learn more about the content by checking the game’s Steam store page.
