The Head Hunter Trailer Is Basically A Live-Action Horror Version of Goblin Slayer

Brayne Studios, Vertical Entertainment, and Detention Films have a new horror flick called The Head Hunter in store for fans of outdoor thrillers filled with blood, gore, and unbridled vengeance.

It’s a Viking-era flick about a man who loses everything to monsters in the night. He doesn’t rest easy waiting for the inevitable cold touch of death to embrace his soul. Instead, he charges toward his fate with flame and steel in hand, cutting through all that would stand in his path.

The basic premise is essentially a live-action version of the highly popular Goblin Slayer anime. The trailer doesn’t give too much away, other than that it’s gory, it’s bloody, and it looks like a low budget passion project from the filmmakers.

You can check out the trailer below courtesy of Filmstop Trailers.

Obviously, finding the trailer wasn’t entirely easy given that YouTube has a censorship lockdown on search filters, but with a little wheel-greasing and grunt work it was still possible to scour out the trailer that the video hosting site has inadvertently hidden in their attempt to stifle content searches for info on the New Zealand shooter and his manifesto.

Anyway, the horror film takes a pretty cool turn insofar that the main character, intent on getting vengeance for losing his loved one, armors up, equips himself with some badass gear, and goes off in search of the monsters that took from him what he could never get back.

We see that the head hunter is successful in beheading some of the orcs and hanging their severed noggins on a while. However, it looks like it eventually catches up with him in the end.

This certainly doesn’t look like the kind of film that will leave you with a smile on your face and rosy cheeks by the time the credits roll, but if you’re in need of a hardcore action-horror flick, it looks like The Head Hunter is the film to keep an eye on.

It’s also noteworthy because it’s not a diversity-ridden, agenda-pushing, SJW-laden Hollywood fright-fest of Liberalism starring some malnourished high school-aged soy boy who looked like he crawled out of a Bryan Singer pool party after playing a game of “escape the chicken coop”. So the film at least has that going for it.
