Soph, 14-Year-Old Anti-SJW YouTuber Investigated By Police Following Hit-Piece And Censorship Pleas By Buzzfeed

Precocious 14-year-old YouTuber going by the handle Soph has been producing videos for some time, but after she made a video titled “Be Not Afraid”, satirizing Islam and the media’s support for deconstructing Western society, she instantly became a target by Left-wing media outlets, including Buzzfeed. The blogging website produced a hit-piece against Soph on May 13th, 2019 titled “YouTube’s Newest Far-Right, Foul-Mouthed, Red-Pilling Star Is A 14-Year-Old Girl” by Joseph Bernstein. The article created a domino effect that has led to police investigating the teenager.

According to the local Kron4 new station, they published a piece on May 17th, 2019 indicating that police are investigating Soph based on complaints made by those at her school, who have begun shunning the teenager and claiming that what she stated in her “Be Not Afraid” video was “disgusting”. The video was taken down by YouTube shortly after the Buzzfeed article was published, but you can view a re-upload courtesy of YouTuber Francis Chow.

[Update: Since YouTube removed the re-upload there’s a backup available for viewing on Bitchute]

The original video garnered millions of views in a short amount of time, leading to Buzzfeed’s Joseph Bernstein taking interest in Soph – though, more accurately one might say painting a target on the YouTuber – after the video went viral.

In the Buzzfeed article, Bernstein paints Soph as a radical reactionary, a racist, and a bigot.

Bernstein summed up most of the buzzword-laden invective in a single paragraph, writing…

“Soph’s scripts, which she says she writes with a collaborator, are familiar: a mix of hatred toward Muslims, anti-black racism, Byzantine fearmongering about pedophilia, tissue-thin incel evolutionary psychology, and reflexive misanthropy that could have been copied and pasted from a thousand different 4chan posts. Of course, it’s all presented in the terminally ironic style popularized by boundary-pushing comedy groups like the influential Million Dollar Extreme and adopted of late by white supremacist mass shooters in Christchurch and San Diego.”

Bernstein’s piece was spread around far and wide, creating a chain reaction that included not only Soph’s video getting axed from YouTube but also resulted in her account getting hit with a strike, along with being prohibited from uploading videos.

The attention garnered from Buzzfeed’s attempt to de-platform Soph, and YouTube’s acquiescence to the media outlet’s pleas to punish the teenager, allowed Soph to do a bit of press and land some notable interviews with outfits like InfoWars.

In the 20 minute interview she talked about what was happening with the police investigation as well as what was happening with at her school involving the school trying to use coercion to get the teenager to abandon her views and conduct.

As reported by Bounding Into Comics, Soph has already setup an alternative channel over on Bitchute.com in case her YouTube channel gets permanently terminated, which seems like the end goal by the journalists who don’t like the adroit teen.

This topic was also brought up in a recent interview that she had with YouTuber Red Ice TV, who talked about the Left’s bully tactics, the reportage from Nick Monroe that collected some of the social media attacks directed at Soph, as well as her plans moving forward.

According to the interview, YouTube has basically demonetized Soph’s channel and removed her from the partnership program for “hate speech”, something that they also recently did to Carl “Sargon of Akkad” Benjamin as well. The UKIP candidate came under intense fire from the media after he announced his plans to run for MEP in the upcoming elections, which triggered a barrage of smears from the media, leading to YouTube removing Sargon from their partnership program and permanently demonetizing his channel.

On the upside, she still has access to her Patreon account… for now.
