Unlucky Seven, Furry Mystery Game Is Headed To Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One

Puzzling Dream Games is prepping to release Unlucky Seven on PC on August 30th. However, Puzzling Dream has teamed up port house Sonka S.A., and they will be working together to release the game on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch at some point in the future.

It’s interesting that they managed to secure a console release for a game that still hasn’t released yet on PC. However, they already have a console release secured.

The game itself is a unique blend of puzzle-solving, role-playing, with hints of a murder-mystery. At the start of the game players will be able to choose to play as either humanoids or as anthropomorphic furries. Yes… furries.

The objective of the game centers around taking control of each of the characters throughout each chapter. The game progresses from one chapter to the next, with each character requiring their own goals to be completed.

Along the way, however, you’ll have to deal with the looming and overarching theme of cannibalism. Whether as furries or as humans, the stranded crew on the planet begin to grow hungry, and some of them begin to develop a taste for flesh… living or dead.

It’s a weird game for sure, but just about anything spawning out of the furry community has a leg in a lake called bizarre.

Nevertheless, I do have to admit that the premise and retrofitted art-style to mimic the 3D pixelated games of the 1990s is an interesting touch.

The gameplay only clocks in at about six hours, but with different endings, outcomes, and scenarios based on a myriad of choices you can make, it prompts for a lot of replayability.

You can look to get your hands on Unlucky Seven starting August 30th, 2019 at the end of the month on PC via the Steam store. The home console versions for the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch are scheduled to arrive at some point in the future.
