It looks like the big green giant known as the Xbox team is looking to go head-to-head with Sony’s State of Play event with Inside Xbox on September 24th, 2019. Both the houses of green and blue are revealing new stuff, but this edition of Inside Xbox is all about “games” and Xbox Game Pass.
No mention of the next Xbox iteration has made the rounds on social media. In other words, speak on the 2020 Microsoft console is low and hasn’t appeared in the following tweet.
We’re coming at you LIVE tomorrow with:
🇬🇧 X019 updates
🌌 The Outer Worlds
👻 Ghost Recon Breakpoint
🎮 And more!
— Xbox (@Xbox) September 23, 2019
Falling in line with Sony’s State of Play, the Xbox team is focusing on upcoming stuff, game-related content, and when folks can expect the next X019 event — which is due to go live on November 14th, 2019. This means no scoop on the next-gen Xbox.
Unlike Sony’s 20-minute long event tomorrow, the Inside Xbox show will run for an hour-long. Content to head up the show consists of DayZ, Hitman 2, Afterparty, Code Vein, Felix the Reaper, Children of Morta, the next round of Xbox Game Pass titles, and more.
According to news.xbox.com, Inside Xbox will air at 3:00 P.M. PT / 6:00 P.M. ET featuring “all things Xbox” as per Xbox Wire Editor in Chief Will Tuttle:
“We’ve got a look at the upcoming single-player sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds, the latest on Project xCloud, an exclusive interview with Jon Bernthal on Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, the scoop on tickets for X019, coming to London on November 14, and you’re hearing it here first – Studio Wildcard’s Atlas is coming to Xbox and we’ll tell you everything you need to know! The episode will also feature DayZ, Hitman 2, Afterparty, Code Vein, Felix the Reaper, Children of Morta, the next round of Xbox Game Pass titles and more.”
To summarize all of the aforesaid, this Inside Xbox will run for an hour, a list of games will appear, new and old games are joining Xbox Game Pass, no mention of the next-gen Xbox, the upcoming X019 event will be detailed further, and “more” info will drop, too.
With all of that said, are you tuning in to see this Inside Xbox or State of Play, or are you passing?
