Respawn Is Nearing The End Of Stars Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s Development

It looks like Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment are nearing the end of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order’s development according to a new tweet by producer Blair Brown. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set to release across PC, PS4, and Xbox One on November 15th, 2019.

Although the upcoming Star Wars game isn’t anything to write home about, there are some people out there excited to see what EA and Respawn have in store. Well, it looks like the wait isn’t long in that mid-November is the release window and the devs are nearing the end of development.

According to Producer at Respawn on Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Blair Brown, the game in question looks like it might release this year without any delays:

I should note, just because a game is nearing its end development cycle or has gone gold does not mean it will release as a finished product. Take for instance 505 Games and Remedy’s Control, the game released with performance issues like its sales.

In other words, let’s wait and see how this game pans out at launch and if it launches without issues or if it’s riddled with bugs as if Bethesda built its foundation.

While we wait though, gripes that I have with this game revolves around the combat not being weighty enough, and the AI being something that you’d find on ResetEra — throwing the same predictable nonsense at you. Additionally, given that there will be no human dismemberment or human-like figures losing body parts (except for key moments) is an even bigger bummer.

Yes, the house of the mouse will not stand for dismemberment in a list of rules that story artist (for Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7) Tatyana Drewry Carvin rattles off to publication site IGN:

“One of the rules we were given was to always hide the cut in case of decapitation. And never show blood. The burn of the lightsaber is supposed to cauterize it instantly.”

And as it stands now, there are no attractive female characters in it. Instead, current year characters are always popping up left and right. However, if you want to be the judge here’s the latest gameplay video for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order:

If, for some reason, you’re interested in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, the game is scheduled to launch on November 15th, 2019, across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
