Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare PC Specs Require 175GB Of Free Space

Activision and Infinity Ward know how to anger a lot of people. If it’s not social justice warriors screeching about Willie Pete and fighting Middle Eastern women, then you have the company trying to sneak in egregious microtransactions post-launch. However, if the forthcoming FPS game has piqued your interest, you’ll need 175GB of free space on your PC to play the title in question.

The current year take and pseudo-reboot of the much older Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare that launched for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 late in 2007 will hit PS4 and Xbox One as well as PC — once again.

If you want to join Captain Price and the SAS as they partner alongside the CIA and the Urzikstani Liberation Force on a desperate mission to retrieve stolen chemical weapons, your PC needs quite the space according to battle.net.

Whether you are rocking the old Windows 7 (64-bit) or you are using the latest version of Windows, you will be able to play 2019’s Call of Duty. Moreover, if you have 8GB of RAM or 12GB, you are also eligible.

But, if you don’t have a large amount of free space, then you will either need extra space, free up some room or skip out on the game according to the following minimum PC specs:

Minimum PC Specs:

OS: Windows 7 64-bit (SP1) or Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon HD 7950 – DirectX 12.0 compatible system
Memory: 8GB RAM
Storage: 175 GB available hard drive space
Internet: Broadband Internet connection

The recommended requirements still demand a lot of free space, but you will need the following to run the game as intended:

Recommended PC Specs:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit latest update
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen R5 1600X
Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD Radeon RX 580 – DirectX 12.0 compatible system
Memory: 12 GB RAM
Storage: 175 GB available hard drive space
Internet: Broadband Internet connection

Anyway, the upcoming FPS game is gearing up to release for public consumption later this month on October 25th for PC and home consoles.
