Professional Farmer: American Dream Now Available On Nintendo Switch

UIG Entertainment announced that their in-house developed and published title, Professional Farmer: American Dream, has launched for the Nintendo Switch. The game is much like the other farming titles out there, only it lacks the sort of slice of life simulation that something like Farmer’s Dynasty offers.

Even still, if you wanted a basic farming simulator where you can plant your goods, harvest your goods, and operate farming equipment, along with raising and tending to farm animals.

You can check out the gameplay with the trailer below.

The full game features a completely robust career mode where the objective is to start out small and slowly build up your farming empire by completing tasks, improving your gear, and moving up the ranks by plowing the fields, maintaining the cattle, and cultivating the field.

The game originally came out two years ago for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. However, UIG took the extra time to add in a new pumpkin farming feature for the Nintendo Switch version to give gamers a reason to check it out.

There’s no mention of whether or not motion controls have been made available or if there are any other specialty features for the Switch version. For sure, you can definitely see that visually the game doesn’t quite compare to many other farming simulator competitors on the market, nor does it hold up in comparison to the other consoles and PC. The environments are polygonal and have washed out textures, and there’s almost no dynamic lighting whatsoever.

The shadows are also just giant splotches on the ground with almost no defining features whatsoever. It almost looks like a PS2-quality game.

Even still, if graphics aren’t the be-all, end-all for your gameplay enjoyment, then you can check out Professional Farmer: American Dream right now over on the Nintendo eShop.
