Noah’s Ark, Biblical Strategy Game Coming Soon To Steam

SimulaM and PlayWay S.A., announced that there’s a new take on the famous Noah Ark’s tale, only this time instead of it being a first-person SNES game, or a side-scrolling NES title, it’s a strategy game themed around capturing and organizing animals on Noah’s great Ark.

The game features a systematic layer of mini-games and strategic puzzle solving in order to gather supplies, build the Ark, and then go out into the wild and capture all the animals you’ll need to put inside.

PlayWay and SimulaM released a gameplay trailer for Noah’s Ark, which you can check out below.

As showcased in the trailer, you literally have to manually go through and cut down trees, place each of the wood posts inside the Ark, align the hull, and design and structure each of the rooms for the animals.

Once you finish designing the actual Ark, then it’s time to rearrange the rooms as to where each of the animal pairings will go, and from there you’ll be tasked with heading out into the world to gather up the animals for the great journey.

After capturing the animals, you’ll then need to journey 40 days and 40 nights through stormy weather, fixing leaks and keeping the animals placated.

The game looks pretty cheap, and the concept is cheesy as heck. However, to be a game based on the Bible, it’s a lot more competent than many other Christian-made games. Obviously it doesn’t hold a candle to the Jesus Strikes Back series, but how many games do?

Speaking of Jesus… Noah’s Ark is actually from the same developers who made the eccentric game I Am Jesus Christ. So they seem to be geared toward Biblical games for whatever reason. I can’t complain. It’s nice to see some real diversity in gaming for once that isn’t just Liberal degeneracy.

Anyway, Noah’s Ark is definitely not my kind of game, but if it is your kind of game you can wishlist and follow it over on the Steam store page. Noah’s Ark is due to release “soon” for PC.
