SnowRunner Michigan Trailer Highlights Landmarks, Terrain, And Trucks

Focus Home Interactive and Saber Interactive released the latest trailer for the upcoming physics-based trucking sim, SnowRunner, based on the highly popular SpinTires series. The new trailer is themed around one of the three key locations you’ll be visiting in the game, Michigan.

It seems like an odd place for a game like this, but Saber Interactive took care in selecting topographical locations in the Great Lakes state to ensure that gamers are given proper challenges and plenty of optional risks when it comes to scaling the elevated hillsides and torquing through the muddy terrain.

You can get a glimpse of what the gameplay is like with the trailer below, featuring a look at the Michigan contracts, layout, landscape and trucks.

The 48 second trailer isn’t very long but we do get an idea of what the roadways and off-road opportunities are like, all set to some apropos country rock music.

We also get a highlight of some of the key vehicles you’ll be using to traverse said landscapes.

We see Hummers, tankers, and semis, all doing their thing. A few key landmarks are also featured in the trailer, including a look at some dingy motels and gas marts.

Beyond that we see that majority of the challenges will come from rivers running through key destinations that you may have to traverse, as well as rocky pathways where traction and elevation will become tactical challenges to overcome.

Muddy pathways through dense forests will likely prove to be the most difficult of routes you can take, but using the proper differential settings and having a decent four-wheel drive machine underneath you will help get things done in a timely fashion.

It’s such a shame that this is an Epic Games Store timed exclusive, but that’s how Saber Interactive has been taking their digs lately.

In any case, the game is due to drop on PC and home consoles, including the PS4 and Xbox One, starting April 28th. For more info feel free to visit the official SnowRunner website.
