Sony Will Host A Dedicated Ghost Of Tsushima State Of Play On May 14th, 2020

Sony and Sucker Punch Productions will go up with a full-on dedicated Ghost of Tsushima State of Play episode on May 14th, 2020. The show in question will offer gamers and fans alike a look into what the forthcoming open-world samurai/ninja game has to offer.

If you want to see gameplay footage of Ghost of Tsushima, get ready to mark your calendar for May 14th, 2020. On said date, at 1:00 P.M. PT / 4:00 P.M. ET folks will be able to see 18 minutes of the game in question as per Sid Shuman — senior director and SIE content communications.

The above information comes from Shuman via blog.us.playstation.com, as seen below:

“The episode will be focused entirely on Ghost of Tsushima, coming to PS4 July 17. You’ll get an extended look at new gameplay footage, including exploration, combat and more. The current cut is clocking in around 18 minutes, give or take.

And just to be clear — there won’t be any PS5 news or updates in this episode, just a big, beautiful look at Sucker Punch’s PS4 open-world epic.”

If the above information has piqued your interest, you can watch the new Ghost of Tsushima gameplay footage (which includes exploration, combat, and more) on Twitch and YouTube.

Moreover, the game in question will run folks 50 GB to download and will sport blood and gore, partial nudity, and intense violence according to store.playstation.com.

As for the game itself, the story sees the island of Tsushima on the brink of destruction in the late 13th century. From here, Jin Sakai must sacrifice everything to ward off the Mongol invaders and protect what’s left of his home.

As Sakai embarks on an adventure to free Tsushima, he is forced to set aside his knowledge of the way of the samurai and become a ghost warrior.

If all of the above sounds like something that you can get behind, Sony and Sucker Punch Productions will release Ghost of Tsushima this year for PS4 on July 17th.
