Kena: Bridge Of Spirits Is Yet Another Female-Led Adventure Game For PS5, PC

Want a game where you don’t get to use guns and play as a female of the mystery-meat variety who must battle to save the Earth from evil spirits? Of course you do, because desiring an actual fun game where you play as a character who appears to be capable of believably saving the world is part of the “patriarchy” and a sign of “toxic masculinity”, which is why Sony and PlayStation Studios are force-feeding you a litany of female-led games on the PlayStation 5, one of which includes Ember Labs’ Kena: Bridge of Spirits.

The third-person action-adventure title was one of many games starring a female protagonist that was showcased during Sony’s lackluster and boring PlayStation 5 reveal and presentation. The game will also be available on the Epic Games Store for PC.

The two minute trailer goes through the standard-fare process of highlighting the basic gameplay mechanics.

You can check out the trailer below.

Like almost every other game announced for the PlayStation 5, Kena stars a female POCker who must journey through the land, helping wayward spirits, and fighting against ancient evil.

Much like Ratchet & Clank or Jak & Daxter, you’ll have a mix between real-time combat and platforming segments to keep you busy.

And since the big push from Leftist is to remove depictions of gun violence, typically Kena only has access to magical powers, including her staff that can double as a bow.

In some ways, it’s literally just like Horizon: Zero Dawn but without the robosaurs and a faux-Dreamworks aesthetic.

I’m completely burned out on all this feminist empowerment tripe, so this is a very easy pass for me, but given that Sony now caters to soy guzzlers, cuckolds, and Centrists™ as their main audience, I’m sure plenty of them are drooling soy at the corners of their mouth as they dream about lining up at empty retailer parking lots to purchase a copy of the game once it’s ready to release.
